Rev. Louis H. Showers, Pastor

 

Pastor Showers has been ministering at Grace Baptist Church for over 6 years.  Before coming to Washington, he pastored churches in Iowa, New Hampshire, and New Jersey.  He is a 1976 graduate of Grace College with a double major in Bible and Biblical Languages.  In 1980 he graduated with his Master of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary.  He was ordained in 1980 and has been pastoring fulltime for over 27 years.  He has been married for 30 years to Wanita (Bontrager), who is a native of Indiana and they have two children.  Pastor Showers passion is the study of the Bible and its communication through teaching and preaching.  In his free time he enjoys model railroading, home improvements, crossword puzzles, and a good movie.
